Innovation – dade prints concrete
“Those who do not keep up with the times, will be gone in no time”- so says the proverb. For dade design, innovation is just as important as craftsmanship – the combination of both guarantees contemporary and high-quality interiors.
April reveals Interior Design at its most beautiful; playing a leading role at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. This year, dade design products are exhibiting with their partner company Orea AG. To be located at the SWISS DESIGN DISTRICT in the San Fedele Art Gallery near the cathedral. Orea are showcasing a monolithic kitchen with the dade FRONT and also presents the dade PANEL – from 9th to 14th of April you can stop by from 10.30 to 19.00 o’clock in the Via Hoepli 3.
The first 3D printed washbasin dade WAVE3d
In addition, dade design will once again be at the forefront of a whole industry when we present the first 3D printed washbasin; dade WAVE3d at the iSaloni (Fuorisalone). In collaboration with the French company www.Xtreee.eu from Paris we experimented to push the application of 3D printing technology for concrete furniture.
Present state of 3D technology
Reinforcement of the workpiece and smooth surfaces are not yet possible. High material and production costs pose further challenges.
Currently the principle of “Design follows technique” is the deciding factor.
Nevertheless, we continue to experiment, research and break new ground – with this technology dade takes the path towards project, processing and finishing/installation expertise.
The preliminary result can be seen in Milan from 9th to 14th of April at Orea in the Swiss Design District.
