The basis for every dade design concrete object is our specially developed dade ROC high-performance concrete. This concrete joins the list of modern Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) concretes. We use 6/8 mm gravel from the Altstätten area and sand from the Rhine delta for our dade ROC. Together with an extremely high-performance cement, some chemical additives and fibreglass fibres, the result is a concrete with a perfect surface and material properties that outperform conventional concrete by a factor of 3-4 (More facts). Terrazzo surfaces
Terrazzo surfaces are currently the trend in modern buildings. In this process, the cement surface is sanded in 6-7 work steps to make the grain visible. The grinding process simultaneously closes and seals the surface. For terrazzo surfaces, we use different chippings according to your specifications, e.g. Guber chippings or Valser stone. OSB, herringbone, board formwork look etc.
The dade ROC base mix is poured into moulds. We work with various formwork materials and achieve a wide variety of surfaces. The standard – especially for concrete kitchens – is our smooth mould version. Other common types of formwork are OSB formwork, herringbone look and board formwork, as shown above. Wax or diamond look
In addition to different formwork materials, we can also set accents in the surface finish. In addition to the finish with the dade coating or impregnation, we also offer a diamond and wax look.
